Feedback for Hellsing By Muna Ali

This is the feedback for the first edit of the film that I received. Some of the things that we learnt from the feedback was that our flashbacks were not very clear and that it was too much. What we did to improve that was to cut out the amount of flashbacks and then make it black and white. We also discovered that some people believed that out film was an action film rather that a vampire film, to make it absolutely clear we added some more vampire iconography like blood. The chase was too long for some people's liking therefore we shortened it down. The music in our first edit was quite basic at first and to improve it we got music that suited the scenes we were to used it for. Once we found the music we had to cut it down so that the timing was just right. One of the hardest things that we had to improve was the narrative as people found it hard to understand. We thought long and hard about it and finally decided that we should do a voice over and also add in a radio transmission from a police woman so that people would understand that our our main character Rebecca was also a police woman.

Second edit feedback By Muna Ali

After correcting the feedback we got from the first edit, we decided that we could more feedback for our second edit so that we could correct any other mistakes we had. This feedback was video baed done by our teacher and 2 other students in our class. This enabled us to open out eyes to silly little mistakes we could have had throughout the filming.

Using all the feedback we had from this video we finally had our final edit of our film Hellsing.

Poster Designs for our Movie By Michelle Richards

Here are some poster designs which are effective and grabs our target audiences attention. By having the colours of red, white and black this hints out to the audience what the genre of our movie is and these are the typical colours associated with vampires. I made these designs based upon my creativity. Marketing is a massive opportunity for an opening sequence of a film as this can help make the film be a success.
